The doors at our olive mill are always open for anyone interested in finding out about the varieties of olives cultivated on our island and who wishes to see at close hand the olive oil production process or indeed taste the various olive oils with us.

Our people will receive you and endeavour to answer all your questions.

ABC of Olive Oil

For all those who want to grasp the basics when it comes to olive oil production, as well as to get useful tips on its consumption and storage.

The tour lasts 60 minutes and includes a presentation of the modern production process inside the olive mill premises, a video showing the harvesting and tasting of a premium extra virgin olive oil and the advice of our experts on how best to enjoy it.

There is a maximum of 40 visitors for this tour. Cost per person: €5.

For Olive Oil Fans

Here in 120 minutes you’ll learn in detail about all the production process, you’ll watch a video on harvesting and, most important of all, you’ll get the chance under the guidance of our experts to compare the various flavours of four different kinds of olive oil. You’ll learn how to distinguish their characteristics and how to describe them as well as to enjoy them to the very last drop. Little secrets and useful tips from our producers will help you to familiarise yourself with the tasting, storage and enjoyment of olive oil.

The minimum number of participants for this tour is 4 and the maximum is 15. The cost is €20 per person.

Become an Expert

Would you like to be initiated into the most arcane mysteries in the production of Mytilene olive oil? Would you like to go deeper into the tasting experience? If so, this tour is just the thing for you.

This tour lasts 150 minutes and, beyond the detailed tour around the production areas, the video on harvesting and the tasting of four different olive oils accompanied by an expert connoisseur, you’ll also have the chance to savour a food pairing of olive oil with three local dishes. An all-round experience that will bring you up close with the cuisine and tastes of Lesvos.

The minimum number of participants for this tour is 4 and the maximum is 15. The cost is €35 per person.
